We’ve worked hard to make the pickup schedule as simplified as possible given that we are split across two states, multiple counties, and many cities. We do our best to align with standard trash pickup days but, given the privatized structure in Kansas, that isn’t always possible. As a result, we have organized Kansas pickups by zip code to maximize the efficiency of our driving routes and save the most gas. Obviously, being kind to the earth is our highest priority!
For a more detailed explanation of how things work – read on:

Compost pickup aligns with your regularly scheduled trash day
Ex: If your regular trash and recycle day is Monday – your CCKC pickup is Monday
If you are a biweekly customer (pickup every other week), your designated pickup week is determined by whether your zip code is an odd or even number. We know, we know… It seems arbitrary but it was the best way to split our routed areas in half, we swear!
